Tiankuo Jiao

TIANKUO JIAO received his BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Liverpool in 2023. He went on to earn an MRes degree in Photonic and Electronic Systems from the University of Cambridge in 2024. Currently, Tiankuo is undertaking his PhD studies at Cambridge, where his research focuses on coherent optical wireless transmission (SISO and MIMO), serial digital interface (SDI) communication and advanced modulation techniques. His recent work also investigates coherent integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technologies, aiming to enhance data capacity, link reliability and real-time sensing performance in next-generation optical wireless systems that integrate communication and perception.
