Yukai Wang

YUKAI WANG received his MSc degree in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence with Distinction from University College London (UCL), and also holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Robotics and Computer Science with First Class Honours. He has professional experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to robot motion planning and control. Yukai is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where his research focuses on optical wireless communication (OWC) for indoor robotics positioning and communication, including LiFi and optical camera communication. Looking ahead, he aims to contribute to joint positioning and communication approaches that enable robust, energy efficient optical links to support reliable localisation and autonomy for robots.
